1. How much does it cost to register?

Nothing. The purpose of the Tourism New Zealand website is to promote New Zealand to potential visitors overseas. Part of what makes New Zealand unique is the diversity of things to do. By registering, you are describing part of the New Zealand experience. [top]

2. How do I get my picture with my information?

The images help page tells you how a photographic image can be attached to your listing. [top]

3. How can I change my information after I've submitted it?

Just log back on to the site and select the appropriate edit link. From there you can type over any of the incorrect information. Just remember to submit the form when you are done. [top]

4. When will I be able to see my information?

In addition to the preview screen that you get from this site, you will be able to see your information on the Tourism website after it has been approved. This will usually take around ten working days. [top]

5. Do you check the registration information?

Yes. A Tourism New Zealand administrator checks every registration for accuracy, relevancy and quality. In some cases the listing is declined, in others it may be edited slightly before being put live. Please allow at least ten working days before following up on a registration attempt. [top]

6. I run a visitor information outlet (VIN) can I register?

You certainly can. Just choose 'NZ based information centres with a physical location'. [top]

7. How are searches ranked?

Search results are displayed randomly. [top]

8. I already have a website how can I get a link to my site?

Just type the URL (web address) into the website address field for each business you enter. [top]
